For those of you who like to play games, Newegg is offering the chance to pay for your purchase in Shiba Inu.
The Thursday announcement stated that shoppers will now be able to use the canine token for purchases at any of the locations’ stores and online.

Bitpay is the world’s largest service that facilitates Bitcoin and other crypto-based payments between businesses and crypto-paying customers.
In May, the company hinted at including the token in its listing of payment options, which generated a wind of positive reactions from the token supporters. “We’re looking for a new puppy, perhaps a Shiba Inu,” the company said in a tweet. The announcement came at a time when the cryptocurrency was getting headlines because of its insane bull run before being listed the next day on its first centralized exchange, Okex.

When Newegg announced their partnership with Bitpay, the online retailer became the first major retailer to accept Bitcoin payments. They were able to get their customers excited by accepting the digital currency and they also get the payment methods.
In April this year, Newegg expanded its payment options to include Dogecoin. The retailer cited the growing demand, excitement, and momentum around the cryptocurrency as a reason to add it to the payment options. The surge in Dogecoin’s value underscored the need to make it easier for customers to purchase items with the meme coin.
In July, the company would launch Litecoin, another peer-to-peer Internet currency that is carving out its own path for itself as a payment currency in the world of commerce.

Newegg is one of the leaders in the industry when it comes to cryptocurrency, which they take very seriously. The company has mastered the art of responding to customers’ needs, including the introduction of special deals for crypto-paying customers during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
