A French hardware wallet maker is partnering with a P2E game to promote education about cryptocurrencies.
Ian Rogers, the chief experience officer of Ledger, first announced the partnership at the Non-Fungible Conference last Monday, according to a report. Rogers said that the partnership would bring greater security to The Sandbox and educate its users.
Rogers says that the company will be offering custom hardware wallets to the $SAND owners.
According to Rodgers, the goal was to increase education on security:
The reality is that educated people become Ledger customers, and so we just want to make sure that all people have all the education they need to be safe and to properly manage this incredible right and freedom that they have of self-custody.
Rogers said that self-custody gave users personal freedom at the cost of more responsibility. To remain in control of their digital assets, users need to take their security very seriously.
There will be more details on the partnership at a later date, according to a Ledger spokesman.
In March, the launch of the new hardware wallet focused on supporting NFTs was announced by Ledger.
